We gathered different people in a classroom to complete our focus group, we started by playing the music that we had chosen for our music video to see what they thought about of it.
We then had to ask them a few questions just to figure out so answers that we are willing to find out, the first question that we asked them was,
What are your first impressions of the song? We had many different answers by the people that we asked, some said that the song was alright and that it was very catchy and a type of upbeat song. This is what we thought when we picked the song which is helpful because its not just us that think it is a catchy song others do aswell.
The next question was
Which other artist or band did the song remind you off? We also had different answers from the people that we questioned, the answers were Oasis, the kooks, Sway and even Jellyfish. This meant that the band was not unique but aleast is got compared with some good bands which was impressive for us.
The final Question was
How does the song make you feel? there was different answers from this that was quite good. we heard that the song was excitable, happy tuned, weird and it even was named as relaxing tune which was ice to hear. this will help us when creating the video because we will need to make sure that these moods are put into the video.
