When I was creating this magazine advert we had to look at other bands that we where believed was the same type of music that we had created in our music video. We then had to look at the way that the magazine advert was created, what fonts were used and why, what colours were used and why. We also had to think about what type of information would be used and put on the magazine advert to make it look more presentable and more understandable.
Some information such as websites that the song is available on, what ratings the music video has been given from other types of magazines and websites to show the audience whether the magazine is good enough to even have a look at it. Also on the magazine you need to make sure that colours that are being used go well together and don't hurt the human eye, Colours like a orange font on a blue background doesn't go and would look unpresentable. Chase and status has made sure that the have kept the same type of font throughout the making of their own magazine advert, they have also put the colour of the font is only white and yellow, this is also the colour of the writing on the CD colour.
